The Origins of a Luxury Transportation Company
We started Go Luxe as a pair of executives – a husband and wife team who entertained a lot and had a tough time finding the quality and style of service we needed from traditional limousine companies. We had been entertaining clients for more than 25 years, yet we repeatedly had trouble locating great ground transportation. It was a real challenge. Traditionally, impressing a client or hosting guests meant renting a stretch limousine. But many clients simply don’t want to be seen in a limousine. They attract the wrong kind of attention, they really aren’t comfortable and they’ve simply gone out of style. The other alternative was to transport clients in an enhanced SUV. But that didn’t make for the best experience either – and there was never any kind of true “wow” factor.
After conducting some research, we realized that a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van was our ideal solution. A luxury Sprinter Van is more comfortable, has all the luxury of a limousine, but is less ostentatious. You can celebrate and entertain while someone else does the driving. There’s room to get up and walk around, watch TV, recline and much more. From executive transportation to wedding transportation and everything in between, a Sprinter Limo Van was truly the most versatile option available. We also realized that in order to deliver the kind of private transportation experience and customer service we wanted from a luxury limo company, we would need to create our own luxury transportation company. We knew we would need to separate ourselves from the competition by offering exceptional vehicles, a unique experience and superior service – like we were hosting our own guests.
Our Guide to Creating Go Luxe
First, we decided we would offer luxury vehicles that make a statement – while also providing our clients and their guests and an exceptionally comfortable ride.
Second, we would employ professional concierge drivers, not simply chauffeurs, who would focus on safe driving and also deliver superior concierge service. Our concierge drivers are knowledgeable about all the hot spots in town, know how to get in and out of traffic, know the best pickup and drop-off locations and deliver all the little touches that make our clients feel truly special.
Third, we would create a concierge transportation service that offered more than just getting clients from “point A” to “point B”. We would offer our guests the ability to organize everything around their transportation.
Fourth, we would set the bar high to make sure our clients had the best luxury private transportation experience available. We would provide the best customer service, a helpful concierge staff, amazing vehicles and an entertaining experience while traveling on the ground.
So it Began…With One Luxury Sprinter Limo Van
Our first investment was a Black Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van, which we converted into a “private jet on the ground”. We wanted the interior to be refreshing, so our clients felt like they were in their own personal, plush living room. Entertainment and comfort were the top priorities. We added two TV’s inside the limo van and one TV in the rear cargo area, offering remarkably stellar tailgating. We added a great sound system, DVD player, satellite TV, Apple TV, Bluetooth, SiriusXM Radio, HDMI hookups, cooler and storage, plus a driver partition for privacy. Then we went over the top with Maybach leather seating for extreme comfort. We even added top-of-the-line suspension for a smoother ride. We originally called this van the VIP Jet Sprinter Coach. Now it’s simply known as The VIP. Today, it’s requested by executives who want to work while commuting, entertainers who want to bring their entourage and travel in style, couples who want to tour hot spots across town, athletes who want to travel in comfort and many more satisfied customers from all walks of life. We provide ultimate luxury private transportation for red carpet events, weddings, luxe road trips, wine tasting tours, unique golf outings and for concert and sports enthusiasts who want to be entertained, tailgate and leave navigating traffic to us.
Our Concierge and Ghost Host Service
Our goal is to empower our clients to be guests at their own party, to have fun and to leave all the details to us. We provide VIP parking, VIP tickets and VIP access to restaurants and bars. We can and will make reservations. And we do all the shopping for whatever you’ll need in your van, shuttle or mini-coach ahead of time. You don’t have to do a thing.
One of our most unique services is the “Ghost Host” – a personal concierge who’s not visible to you, your clients or your guests during your outing. Your Ghost Host travels separately and works closely with your concierge driver. The Ghost Host does everything, but to your guests it will seem like you did all the work. Imagine arriving at a restaurant where the valet, host, bartender and manager know your name? How about arriving at a bar where your seats are reserved, and the bartender has your drinks prepared for you? At a nightclub, your Ghost Host will have VIP seating waiting, and your server replenishing drinks before your last sip. Then, when you’re done, just get up and leave – and never see a bill. The Ghost Host will take care of all your hosting duties, make you look like a hero and make your guests all feel like true VIPs. With a Ghost Host, we guarantee our clients an incredible experience. Whether or not you reveal your private concierge to your guests is entirely up to you.
Now More than Sprinter Limo Vans
After several months in business, we started getting requests for larger vehicles – and soon realized that corporations and large groups also wanted our services. So we added more vehicles in order to offer a wide variety of clients the same luxury private transportation service. We now provide luxury Sprinter Vans that seat up to 6, 7, 8, 10, 11 and 13 passengers. We also have luxury mini-coaches that seat 23, 27 and 32 passengers. We even have luxury SUVs and sedans for smaller groups that still want the same concierge service they can only get from us.
